We met in Papua New Guinea in 1972 so I guess we both have always had a penchant for travel. Motorbikes have always been an integral part of our lives.
After eight years living in the mysterious and beautiful PNG where our first two children were born we moved back to Australia. Six months later we had our third, a daughter.
We have always loved camping and so with a growing family, camping became our preferred budget way to travel and holiday and still is a favourite getaway although now it is done with our eight meter Jayco caravan, the Harley Davidson transported with us on the tray of our Iveco tow vehicle.
Three children and forty two years on we still have our love of our children, grandchildren, travel and motorbikes. We also fitted in twenty years of sailing on our trailer sailer.
We have travelled throughout Europe, Asia and North America, including shipping our Harley Davidson on two occasions to the USA.
Australia is not forgotten and have toured extensively both with the Harley Davidson and the Jayco, often with the two together – a perfect combination.
We both still work full time and look forward to retirement in the not too distant future so as to explore those still unridden roads.
